Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
Welcome to NewsFlash. By using this website and game ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Educational use only
NewsFlash is an educational game intended for children ages 5–12 and the adults who play with them. All companies, share prices, and news events in the game are fictional and used for teaching purposes only. Nothing in this game is financial advice.
2. No real money
The game uses pretend "NewsFlash Bucks." There is no way to deposit, withdraw, or convert in-game currency to real money.
3. No accounts
You do not create an account or share personal information to play. Anything you type (like player names) stays on your device.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Service in a way that's safe and kind. Don't try to hack, scrape, overload, or misuse the site.
5. Intellectual property
The NewsFlash name, logo, board design, characters, and original content are owned by us and may not be copied or resold without permission. You may share screenshots and link to the game freely.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
7. Not financial advice
NewsFlash is a teaching tool, not a brokerage, adviser, or financial service. The companies, prices, and news events are invented. Nothing here is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice, and nothing should be relied on when making real financial decisions. Prices in the game are simplified and do not model real markets. For real investing questions, speak with a licensed financial professional.
8. Parental responsibility
NewsFlash is child-directed and intended to be played by children with the awareness of a parent, guardian, or teacher. If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for supervising your child's use of the Service and for deciding whether it is appropriate for them. By allowing a child to use the Service, you agree to these terms on their behalf. Children should never enter real names or any personal details as player names — nicknames are best. Questions any time: info@kidstockgame.com.
9. Privacy
We collect no personal information. Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms and explains our COPPA posture, cookieless analytics, and how to contact us.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any decision made in reliance on game content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or of applicable law.
12. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws where you live.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
